Runic Reiki is complete onto itself and does not rely on in any way to other systems beyond similarities in using the new symbols and in giving the attunement.  The symbols and techniques in this system can be used for more than healing.  There is a 12 page manual and then a couple of separate documents with all of the different symbols and their meanings.
