Maitri Vihara comes from Sanskrit and simply means “The Abode of Love”. This system of Reiki was channeled by Ana Noriega Gonzalez during a trip to Macchu Picchu in Peru at the time of the Fall Equinox of 2000. While meditating there, she felt a profound connection to the God/Goddess & was guided into developing her own system of subtle energy healing with a Reiki base.

Maitri Vihara Reiki has many very unique symbols. These symbols are used with the chakras in a special way.
